His life had always been more complicated than easy. It was hectic. A blur and stressful.
Born and raised in Spain to a fashion designer mother and a father, who was the very definition of old money and arrogance, Jason learned rather quick the importance of keeping up appearances. The connections you made and the lies you told held decided in what direction your future would go.
But the lies were everywhere. Echoing off the walls of his home. He saw them in his mother's eyes and his father's smiles, and especially in the women that would leave his office when his mother wasn't watching.
But there's always that one last drop that makes the water spill over, and one night his mother had enough of pretending. Screaming and cursing at his father, she grabbed her keys and left, never to be seen alive again. In the early morning hours of the following day, her car was found, lying in a ditch with her cold body inside.
His mother was dead.
And just like that – at the tender age of 12 – Jason lost the one parent that he truly loved, and there was only one person to blame: His father.
In the years that would follow, his father tried to replace her. Not so much as to give Jason a new mother but to satisfy his own needs. His son had different plans, though.

He grew with his pain and anger, and learned eventually how to abuse the frail connection he still had to his father by destroying every single of his relationships.
If there was one thing Jason had learned from his father, it was being selfish and ruthless and taking whatever you wanted regardless of whether you needed it or not.

But even his father had a breaking point. After one particular bad fight, Jason took off. Leaving Europe for good to get away from both his past and his toxic relationship with his father.
